As chilli heads, nothing on the market really tickled our “hot spot” so we decided to create something that did! After years of trials and boozy business meetings, we had created our first hot sauce experience. The Funk. With this we had achieved our goal - both heat AND flavour. From there we kept on keeping on and built a range, an empire… a legacy.

Our process is a lengthy one that starts with a vision. We like to use words like "umami", "ageing techniques" and "frivolous jargon" to create a balanced, cohesive and fun hot sauce experience. After loads of trials in the lab (mum's basement) and only when the product meets our high standards, we small batch it to maintain quality and consistency.
